This complex and full bodied wine shows aromas of ripe melon, candied citrus, quince and toffee. The palate has superb depth and length of flavour. Rich mouth-filling fruit is supported by subtle toasty French oak.
Dark cherry, plum, raspberry dominate the aroma, supported and complimented with vanilla, wood smoke and grilled mushrooms. On the palate the pedigree and depth of flavour is immediately evident, with support from a very fine tannin structure.

The wine has aromas of blackberry, plum, mocha and spicy earthy tones. A fruit driven, finely structured and succulent palate shows flavours of dry spice, vanilla pod and vibrant plum with superb length.
Vibrant floral notes, savoury brown spice and earthy notes on top of a core of red cherry that flows through the aroma. On the palate, supple and layered, bright red cherry notes introduce the wine.
Aromas of tropical melon and pineapple being backed up by a lovely minerality. The palate displays lovely tropical characters, moving into a mid palate with an excellent creamy texture and weight from extended lees contact and barrel ageing.
Succulent vibrant nectarine introduces the wine, this then leads into a textured rock melon influenced mid palate and a ripe phenolic driven finish, this along with the natural acidity helps balances the wines off-dry style.
