Here at Matua, we think that New Zealand Pinot Noir has potential to be the next big thing. Marlborough creates incredibly bright and smooth Pinot with red fruit flavours.

A warm rich mature nose with dark brooding black currant spice and dried wild herb aromatics, lead to a warm rich elegantly derived palate. This wine shows its site with a mineral inspired silky texture, giving great persistence, memory and a soft lingering finish.

This wine features delightful dark cherry and plum aromas integrated with some smoky vanillin characters and cinnamon from the oak. The wine has a good mouth feel with both cherry and plum flavours with a peppery spice.

This Merlot is a smooth and easy drinking wine with intense fruit flavours of plum and red berries. Pair this wine with roast chicken or tomato-based pasta dishes.
